Furthermore, we took the TR7 to reach the Museum and as we were just around the corner, the engine began to create problems. We know you might be thinking about why we are mentioning the TR7, the truth is when we are talking about old British cars, it’s only fitting to mention this vehicle.
As we reached, the founder of the Great British Car Journey told me that the on-garage will fix the issue immediately. He is the founder of Auto Windscreens and he also owned a racing circuit, so he is pretty familiar with the drama a car can cause.
This is his new project and it’s very special for him. He says the museum is a way to pay homage to ordinary British cars. When we visited the museum, it hadn’t been open yet for the visitors. It was ready and due to be opened in a month.
There are many cars in the museum but some hold a special place in his heart. He has a story to tell for almost every vehicle, present in the museum. He can tell about when the vehicle was launched, what it cost, and how it evolved over the years. It’s pretty amazing that he has this much knowledge about the vehicles given that probably none of them are typically popular.
If you love cars and have a strong affinity for their history, this museum is a must-visit place for you. It’s one of the best places a car enthusiast can visit. You will get to see many ordinary old British cars and you can even drive them by paying a small amount.
